Archie's Night on the Town

Last night Archie was missing. For 2+ hours. I noticed at about 8:15 that I hadn't seen him in awhile. I looked in all his favorite hiding spots, but didn't find him. Virgil and I searched the whole house at least twice with still no luck. We checked the back yard, the front yard, and around the side of the house, but still didn't find him.
We got out our big flashlights and prepared to search the neighborhood for him. Before I could get the front door locked, Virgil had spotted him under the neighbors truck. He was all hunched down behind the rear tire. I ran over to him and scooped him up. He was scared and cowering in a fuzzy ball. I took him back inside where he flopped out on his side like he was exhausted. He used up one of his lives last night. How many are left?

Alien or cat? You decide!  Posted by Hello

I Recommend...

3 Doors Down is releasing their third album this coming Tuesday, February 8th, entitled Seventeen Days. I've previewed it on Vh1.com and it sounds like a good one.

Ladies and Gentlemen, We've Got a Jumper

There's one thing that has boggled my mind for some time now. Every now and then, when you're driving, you'll see a lonely shoe just lying on the side of the road. What is it doing there? How did it get there?
My theory is that you are just driving along and all of the sudden one shoe decides it's had enough of your stepping all over it and takes a leap out the window. All of these shoes are committing shoeicide. And they don't even realize that their mate will NEVER be able to go out again. Sad.
The moral of the story is that you should always treat your shoes well because you never know when one might turn on you and decide to jump.
